3M™ Fuel Injector Cleaner is a proprietary blend of high octane fuel and solvents, designed to remove carbon, gums, resins and varnish. This cleaner is a tank additive that cleans fuel injectors, intake valves, and combustion chambers while the engine is still running. Designed for gasoline engines only, 3M™ Fuel Injector Cleaner helps to improve power.
3M™ Fuel Injector Cleaner is a disposable pressurized can that requires specialized hardware to administer. It is designed to be attached directly to the engine fuel system with appropriate 3M Adaptors and Hardware. When connected properly, the engine runs on the contents of the can. For best results, use this product together with 3M™ Fuel Injector Cleaner Tank Additive 08812 and an aerosol can of 3M™ Throttle Plate and Intake Cleaner 08866. Application instructions are vehicle specific. You should refer to the 3M™ Fuel System Cleaning Application Guide CD-ROM 08816 for detailed directions.
